Midwest Solar Installers is a fast-growing local solar panel company. They aim to save, everyone from commercial and residential, money on their electrical bills. Their mission is to make solar energy accessible and affordable for all. Because each solar panel has to be created and installed uniquely based on the roof/area it is going on they treat each job as a unique situation. There is a lot of collaboration with the client to get them the solar setup they want and need.

Bev McGrane, the accountant from Midwest Solars and friend, came to me to see if we could make a few prints, as they required a new printer and were looking for cost-effective options. The first thing they ordered were catalog envelopes with all of their information for the client to read. This slowly trickled into business cards, tablecloths, brochures, vouchers, etc. “When it came to new ideas Deb was able to develop great graphics.”

During the spring of this year, 2024, they started going to the upcoming tradeshows. Attending these shows is essential to their sales but it is not their only way of receiving business.

“[Our] business comes from advertising, word of clients that have systems installed, Google reviews, and being honest and straightforward for possible clients.” Bev identifies their target audience as home and business owners.

Midwest Solar Installers already has received feedback from these shows about their booth and printed materials. Bev states, “The first trade show that the table cloth was used at, other booths (unsure what their business was) commented on how great the table cloth looked!” She also mentioned that other people mentioned that their booth looked professional. “I not only know Deb professionally but personally as well. I know Deb puts her best efforts into all of her projects. No matter how she knows the person.” Bev explains.
