David was a friend of the owner and he talked to him about getting a digital file made for his upcoming class reunion, in which they graduated in 1973. He had a great concept, “73 turns 73” in which the 73’s shadow is a second 73. He wanted it to be simple and use one of my favorite color schemes: red, black, and white. Those colors might seem simple, but they are effective! I gave him three variations on the designs, the third option being his favorite.
